We wish to inform you that Juhudi Children’s Club will be running a Boogie Ride on Saturday 5th March, 2016. Boogie ride is a train tour to Rift Valley that brings to life the Social Studies lessons that children learn in class in a fun and exciting environment. The Boogie Ride runs through three counties, six districts and eight constituencies all set up in different social and physical background. It also includes the expansive Kibera slum, the white highlands, the Great Rift Valley, the Escarpment, beauties of Suswa, Mt. Longonot and the one kilometer dark tunnel in Limuru which give children educational and an exhilarating experience. There will be brief stopovers at various stations and areas of interest as well as 45 minutes picnic break.
Children are expected to be at school at 6.00 a.m in order to be at the Railway Station by 8.00 a.m. for the train to leave promptly at 8.30 a.m. The school bus will take pupils to the Railway Station as long as they arrive at the school compound on the time set and bring them back to school around 6.30 p.m. for parents to pick them up. A number of teachers will accompany the pupils all through Boogie Ride. Pupils wishing to go for the Boogie Ride will be expected to carry snacks and drinking water but Lunch will be served once the train arrives at Naivasha. The cost of this trip is KShs. 2,500/= per pupil and is purely VOLUNTARY. Willing parents are kindly requested to PAY THE FULL AMOUNT ON OR BEFORE WEDNESDAY 2ND MARCH, 2016 to the school office and ensure to get an acknowledgement receipt. We encourage you to give your child a chance to learn with others from different schools and have fun.
