Most of us probably remember a particularly memorable field trip from primary school. It’s been said that travel opens the mind more than any book ever can. Field trips are fun, they are critical to the development of our children, providing a learning and enrichment program outside the classroom. Pupils learn quite a lot. In particular, enriching field trips contribute to the development of learners into civilized young men and women who possess more knowledge about art, have stronger critical-thinking skills, exhibit increased historical empathy, display higher levels of tolerance, and have a greater taste of their country’s vast beauty. This year, the school organized such trips in various Counties. The children learnt a lot and enjoyed themselves very well. From Boat Riding, Horse Riding, Breathtaking Waterfalls to the Historic Caves that were used by Mau Mau fighters in their struggle to liberate this country from the British colony.
